Our Team

Simonetta Logan is the School Director and has been practicing since 1993.  Her current work focuses on working with clients impacted by major trauma, specfically  anyone, including children, who finds life physically or emotionally difficult whether as a result of an accident or bullying, emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse. She also works with army veterans and service personnel suffering from PTSD.

Simonetta interviews and selects all students prior to them starting and leads the training on all courses, including supervision sessions and one to one sessions with students on the Somatic Trauma Therapy course.

Alison Christie is a School Facilitator and qualified with the school in 2012.  Her work has been a mix of private clients and working in the third sector with people affected by chronic or life limiting conditions as well as those who are terminally ill.  She also uses somatic work to support foster children.

Alison is a support tutor for all the courses delivered by the school with a focus on the practical sessions of the massage diploma and leads sessions on both this and the Somatic Trauma Therapy course. She reviews student homework and case work, facilitates online supervision sessions and is also the administration coordinator for the school.

Ana Piris is a School Facilitator and qualified with the school in 2017.  Since graduating she has completed courses in Somatic Trauma Therapy, Biological Decoding and Family Constellations - which is her main focus as a therapist.

Ana is a support tutor for all the courses delivered by the school and leads sessions on the Somatic Trauma Therapy course, and as former nurse supports some of the Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology element of the holistic massage course.  She also reviews student case work and facilitates online supervision sessions. Ana also delivers Family Constellation workshops and other short courses.

Sue Hutchinson is a School Facilitator and qualified with the school in 2018. This added to her established experience as a reflexologist and she has now completed the MFR and Somatic Trauma Therapy courses to extend her knowledge further.

Sue is a support tutor for all the courses delivered by the school leads sessions on the Somatic Trauma Therapy and practical massage courses, as well as supporting the MFR courses. She also reviews student case work and facilitates online supervision sessions.

Douglas Ross is a School Facilitator and qualified with the school in 2021. He is the principal tutor alongside Simonetta on the MTI Holistic Massage Diploma, and has also completed the MFR course with the school as well as the Advanced Remedial Massage Diploma with the AMTS.

Ross delivers all aspects of the massage diploma and reviews student case work and homework.

Anna Casey is a Course Facilitator and qualified with the school in 2022. Using body work, somatic therapy and energy work she has a head, heart and body approach to self-enquiry. Her private practice focuses on supporting women who are later diagnosed with ADHD and Autism that are curious about building a strong and authentic sense of self.

Anna is a support assistant for all the courses delivered by the school with a focus on the practical aspects of the massage diploma and MFR courses. She also reviews student case work.

Tracey Spencer is a Course Facilitator and completed the Somatic Trauma Therapy course with the school in 2023. She is currently doing the Myofascial Release course with the school. With over ten years of experience as a therapist and trainer for a mental health organisation, her therapeutic approach is somatic – working with physical and emotional holding in the body.

Clay AD is a Course Assistant and completed the Somatic Trauma Therapy course with the school in 2023. He is currently studying the MTI Diploma in Holistic Massage course with the school.

Julie Strain is a Course Assistant and completed the Somatic Trauma Therapy course with the school in 2026. She combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), somatic approaches, and Reiki to support nervous system regulation, emotional healing, and mind-body balance.

Theresa Tait delivers specific Course Topics and qualified with the school in 2008.  Since graduating she has set up the Muscle & Movement Company.

Theresa delivers sessions for the school that focus on muscle imbalances, when to stretch and when to strengthen.

Teaching others to understand the actions of joints that enable people to identify and understand their imbalances and how to implement the remedial movements and actions that can help relieve pain, discomfort and dysfunction. For more information or to register for one of Theresa’s online courses, please follow the link.
