Simonetta is a graduate of Babette Rothschild’s Somatic Trauma Therapy and an advanced graduate of Peter Levine’s Somatic  Experiencing©. She has been working effectively with trauma for over thirty years.

In this experiential weekend Simonetta will demonstrate simple yet effective ways of working with trauma. You will be introduced to useful and safe methods to reduce anxiety in your clients without interfering with their process. You will learn simple exercises that you can take away and use immediately. The techniques may be introduced gently while taking the case history and then incorporated into your own style of work. An important aspect of this introduction is that you are taught how to keep your client feeling safe.

Suitable for all bodyworkers, massage therapists, psychotherapists and counsellors as well as those interested in their own self development, this weekend is also an introduction to our foundation course in Somatic Trauma Therapy.

Deposits are refundable until three weeks prior to the start of the course or in full if your place is taken by someone on the waiting list.
