Ken Fisher B. Sc. (Hons) Psychology, Dip. Ed.





Ken Fisher is a Gestalt therapist with a private practice in psychotherapy, supervision and Energy Healing. He has been doing group and individual work in Edinburgh since 1989. He is a Tai Chi Chuan teacher and counselling skills trainer.

He brings humour and sensitivity to his teaching, assisting the development of students' awareness of themselves and those around them.



Simonetta Logan MTI, GCMT





Simonetta has been in full time clinical practice as a holistic bodyworker since 1993, using therapeutic massage, Energy Healing, guided imagery and counselling. She works with people of all ages presenting a broad range of problems, from physical disability, chronic and terminal illness to emotional and childhood traumas.

Simonetta's teaching is informed by her knowledge and experience of the many people she has had the privilege of working with over the years.

Ken and Simonetta are co-founders and course directors of
the School of Holistic Therapy.


Ros Cope MTI, GCMT

   

Ros has worked in the social care field for many years, particularly with homeless people who are among the most excluded from our society.

Her massage training was with the School of Holistic Therapy in Edinburgh.  Accredited by and registered with the Massage Training Institute she is also a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.

A gifted, witty and enthusiastic trainer, she has a special interest in the different ways that people respond to learning, bringing a great resource of knowledge and enthusiam to her teaching.

Ros is committed to continuous professional development and learning advanced massage techniques to enhance her teaching and therapeutic skills.


Simon Buxton

Simon Buxton is Founder/Director of The Sacred Trust and the UK Faculty for The Foundation for Shamanic Studies , the foremost core-shamanic organisation in the world, directed by Dr Michael Harner. Simon has worked and trained within shamanic traditions for over twenty years, including a thirteen year apprenticeship to a European Bee Master. This apprenticeship and the praxis of the shamanic bee tradition are explored within his book The Shamanic Way of the Bee . His work is also profiled within the forthcoming anthology by Hillary S. Webb, Travelling Between The Worlds . As well as developing The Sacred Trust into a charitable organisation dedicated to preserving shamanic traditions, he is also actively engaged in establishing a residential centre of excellence for shamanic teaching and healing.
