Weekend Introduction to Holistic Therapeutic Massage

This weekend workshop is an introduction to our Diploma Course.  You will learn;

  • the fundamental techniques and benefits of Swedish Massage
  • how to give and receive a relaxing massage
  • how massage affects the body's stress response
  • when not to give a massage

If you are thinking about a career in massage, this introduction will help you decide if our Diploma Course is the way forward for you. You will have the opportunity to meet the course tutors as well as past and prospective students.

A certificate of attendance is available to evidence Continuing Professional Development training for therapists, health professionals, etc. This certificate does not entitle you to work professionally.

Places can be booked now on receipt of £50 deposit, refundable up to one month prior to the weekend.

Introduction to Lomi-Lomi Hawaiian

Temple Massage

 

 

A full body massage with oil, traditionally practised in Hawaii as a right of initiation for Hawaiian Royalty! You will experience and absorb a style which embodies a dance-like flow and deep connection. Learn the fundamental strokes by both giving and receiving massage. The massage moves very slowly, with total awareness so that both client and practitioner access a moment of effortless and healing communication.
